Deep Learning Engineer - Motion Planning Algorithms
About The Position
Imagry is looking for a dedicated Deep Learning Engineer to join our dynamic Motion Planning team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing deep learning models, focusing on motion planning and decision-making algorithms for autonomous driving systems. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement deep learning models for supervised and reinforcement learning tasks, focusing on motion planning algorithms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to ensure smooth integration of learning-based models with existing perception and control systems.
- Optimize and fine-tune models using the PyTorch framework, ensuring efficient execution and scalability for real-time applications.
- Conduct thorough experiments and evaluations to assess and improve model performance based on key metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest research and trends in deep learning, supervised learning, and reinforcement learning for autonomous vehicle technologies.
- Maintain code quality through peer reviews, adhere to best coding practices, and ensure proper documentation of processes and experiments.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for deep learning and algorithm development.
- Strong experience with deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch (experience with TensorFlow is a plus).
- Solid understanding of supervised learning and reinforcement learning concepts.
- Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and various techniques for improving model accuracy and robustness.
- Experience in data preprocessing and feature engineering for deep learning tasks.
- Strong knowledge of statistics and estimation methods.
- Comfortable with both classical modeling techniques and advanced deep learning methods.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with algorithms for autonomous driving (vision, motion planning, control).
- Familiarity with planning algorithms in the context of autonomous systems.
