Sr. QA Automation Engineer

About The Position

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Imagry, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the development of our automation test framework from the ground up.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge autonomous driving system, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and design automated test strategies. This position requires a highly experienced engineer with excellent technical skills, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to work independently to drive quality throughout our development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Automation Test Infrastructure: Develop and implement a comprehensive automation test framework tailored to Imagry's autonomous driving system, covering various components and scenarios.
  • Create Test Plans: Collaborate with the QA team to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Automation Development: Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Test Execution: Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and regression failures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance and optimize the automation testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to quality assurance.
  • Leadership: Take the lead in promoting and implementing automation initiatives within the R&D team, by fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and automation frameworks.


Requirements


  • BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably in the Automotive, Medical, or Defense industries. 
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies, test tools and passion for quality processes. 
  • Ability to define, design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python.                                                    
  • Expertise in shell scripting.
  • Experience with C++.
  • Standout ability of collaboration, communication, and partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and the ability to work independently.
  • Proactive, positive, dedicated, inventive, and willing to tackle challenges. 
  • High level of English (written & spoken including ability to present in English) 
  • Experience in Linux environment – advantage.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines – advantage.
